NebuMind develops a data analytics platform for production factories to better understand and improve the quality of their products. Unlike today’s industry 4.0 tools focusing on the performance of machines, NebuMind focuses on the quality of the produced parts. Key is NebuMind’s new approach to data management – collecting, storing and assigning machine and sensor data to every part which is under production. On top of that, a simple, intuitive platform shall enable engineers to analyse the data, evaluate the condition of their produced parts and trace back any quality issues to their origin.
You will be one of two Co-Founders, jointly responsible for the technical design and implementation of a demanding software platform. Key tasks are the design of a high-performance database middleware for handling of huge amounts of imaging data, as well as the design of a simple, yet powerful database platform on this basis.
- Possibilities for career development as Co-Founder in fast-growing start-up

Currently, the team consists of 3 Co-Founders, who have worked together before and who bring startup and industry (aerospace) experience with them. They combine IT, engineering and business knowhow and are familiar with start-up and corporate organisations – still trying to leverage the best of both worlds. Based at a co-working space in the city centre of Munich, the team highly values a comfortable working atmosphere with flexible work hours, easy administration and lots of interesting insights into the start-up’s world.
The team started NebuMind in October 2018 and got selected by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy for the EXIST Gründerstipendium (with the support of the TU Munich) and by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy for the ESA BIC incubation program (with the support of Airbus). The team is the sole owner of the company and is fully funded until end of 2019. Talks with investors already started to secure follow-up funding start of 2020.
