About us

Scaletech is a cleantech advisory firm that works for multilateral institutions, private companies, and research bodies. We focus on cleantech innovation and its global scaling through transfer and adoption to new locations in emerging and developing economies.

We provide advice on quantitative market research, financing options, go-to-market strategies, and physical redesign of aspects of the product that correspond to specific demands by users in the target market. We closely collaborate with international cleantech centers of excellence like MIT. Our clients have included the World Bank, the United Nations, multinational companies wishing to innovate in their deployment of green technologies, and a range of startups.

To strengthen our international team at our Potsdam headquarters, we are looking for a Product Innovation and Development Associate (m/f/x) full-time (or part-time with 30-35 hours/week) as soon as possible.

Your Tasks

·         You are the link between the product and platform development team, our external technology partners, and clients.

·         Support program management and product development across the organization.

·         You will research key cleantech industries and their application in ‘growth markets’.

·         Aligning our product portfolio to our clients’ pain points and needs.

·         Support our clients in scaling their clean technologies.

·         Support the implementation of your research results into the product portfolio.

·         Ensure smooth running of the product development process.

·         Work with us on future funding rounds.

Your Profile

·         Master's degree in a technical subject (ideally engineering or design-related).

·         You bring a passion for topics like sustainable technologies and development.

·         You have product development and innovation experience.

·         You already have your first working experience in a startup environment.

·         Good knowledge of MS Office products.

·         You have a self-starter mentality, work conscientiously, and are solution-oriented.

·         Excellent written and spoken English skills.
