Business & Project Developer (m/f/d) Hydrogen

In our dynamic, diverse, and highly motivated team, we work on the next step of the energy transition and do our part to make the hydrogen economy a reality. In our international markets we develop hydrogen projects from pilots to multi-gigawatt export scale. Therefore, we are creating business models and structures for our markets and coordinate with the local teams for the development of new hydrogen projects. We need you and your good ideas, open spirit, and dedication for this exciting new business opportunity.

Your passion

- You are responsible for the development of individual hydrogen projects in Europe and North Africa
- You contribute to develop our global renewables and hydrogen project pipeline
- You evaluate markets, structure potential projects and elaborate concepts; you find solutions to unforeseen challenges and bring structure into unstructured situations
- You assess & manage the commercial, technical, operational, and regulatory / permitting aspects of the projects
- You identify, negotiate, establish and maintain partnerships (e.g. utilities, hydrogen off-takers, investors, technology partners)
- You manage the cooperation and support with internal departments, our foreign subsidiaries and external service providers (e.g., site appraisal, engineering, grid, construction, finance)
- You support and take an active part in government and stakeholder communication

Your qualification

- You graduated with a degree in business administration, economics, engineering or similar
- You have work experience in project or business development
- You have several years of project management experience
- You have a proven interest or work experience in the field of green hydrogen, natural gas, renewables, or other relevant fields
- You speak English fluently; German, French or Finish are welcome
- You work independently, in a structured way and with an entrepreneurial mindset
- You are a team player
- You like to bring order to unstructured environments and complexity; working pragmatically but with creative solutions
- You are convincing and like to communicate with different teams; you find the right style for local communities, local landowners, engineers, local governments, ambassadors, and ministers
