For our client in the aerospace industry, we are looking for motivated candidates for the following position in Hamburg-Finkenwerder Germany with immediate effect:

Procurement Manager - Aluminium (d/m/w) - für Minimum ein Jahr befristet! Ref. 10309882

job description:

- Manage projects in coordination with the multifunctional team to meet requirements like financial adherence
- Develop and deploy the commodity strategy using the Airbus Commercial and Airbus procurement strategy and policy
- Contribute to company cost improvement programs by identifying opportunities, coordinating activities and negotiating commercial agreements
- Supervise and support Transfer of Work activities for the market and suppliers
- Manage risks related to suppliers and define appropriate mitigation actions
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensure contract change management, supported by contract specialist and verify consistency between contract terms and conditions, and the information system at Airbus
- Support and contribute to supplier development initiatives corresponding to the actual and future supplier performance
- Perform regular supplier reviews and assessments
- Support and contribute to definition of development targets and work towards meeting goals
- Supplier enablement and Demand management
- Support end-to-end management of the aluminium through continuous monitoring of aluminium demand evolution, optimizing demand allocation to maximize Airbus savings, analysing of Enabled Suppliers Demand changes and the identification of potential contractual breaches and mitigations proposal

personal requirements:

- High level of international communication skills in order for developing and maintaining key supplier and internal stakeholder relations
- Display authentic leadership behaviour and values that people and teams want to follow
- Creative and proactive in challenging status quo through the ability to propose new ways of working
- Willingness to travel occasionally

education / studies:

- Engineering at least Bachelor's degree or
- Industrial engineering at least Bachelor's degree or
- Business administration at least Bachelor's degree

professional experience:

- Purchasing at least 2 years
- Customer service at least 2 years
- Supplier management at least 2 years
- Contract management at least 2 years

IT:

- MS Excel at least in-depth knowledge of application
- MS Word at least in-depth knowledge of application
- Google Workspace

further skills:

- Project management at least basic knowledge

language skills:

- German at least business fluent
- English at least business fluent
